What is the Order of Malta International Camp?

In 2013 Ireland will host the 30th annual Order of Malta International Camp - a week of friendship, teamwork, achievement and inclusion for young disabled people from over 20 countries. The event will be held in Clongowes Wood College, Clane, Co. Kildare.

The theme of the camp will be "Is Feidir Leat" or "Yes You Can". This camp will prove to our guests that they CAN participate in activities and experiences not normally accessible to them.

The camp will provide a unique and extraordinary opportunity for disabled guests to partake in activities and events which will help them overcome personal challenges in spirit of inclusion, friendship, fun and a chance to visit some of Ireland's unique sites.

For the volunteer carers and camp staff it will be a unique experience in caring for others and the self-fulfilment in joining our disabled guests for this once in a life time experience.

The event also provides respite for many of the families who care for our guests all year round.
